LinkedIn is a professional networking platform that makes job hunting tenfold easier.

You can apply to positions directly, make connections, and find out company details, but most importantly, you can let recruiters know that you are looking for jobs through LinkedIn.

And you can do that by using the ‘Open to work’ feature. But what about when you are no longer looking for a job?

Maybe you already got a job or you simply want to continue your search privately.

Fortunately, you can turn off the feature, and we’re going to show you how to remove open to work on LinkedIn in this article.

What Is The Open To Work Feature?

LinkedIn is a professional network where you can conduct job searches, find out candidates for your company, or expand your network through contacts.

However, one of the best features of the platform is the Open to work feature that you can display on your profile.

This banner lets recruiters know that you are willing to consider a position, and they can contact you for a job.

The feature helps both the recruiter and the candidate to connect more seamlessly without any complications or hesitation.

However, this feature can be useless if you are no longer looking for a job.

Perhaps you have already got one or you simply want to remove the disclaimer from your profile and continue your job search privately.

Whatever the reason, removing the banner from your profile is pretty easy. Keep on reading to know how to remove open to work on LinkedIn.

Final Thoughts

LinkedIn is a great professional platform that serves great features for both recruiters and candidates.

And, the Open to Work feature is one such example that lets recruiters know that a candidate is on the search for a job.

However, the feature fails to serve any more purpose when a candidate has already found a job or just wants to keep their search discreet.
