Getting popular on Instagram takes time and a lot of effort. At one time, it was easy to gain popularity on the platform, but due to its massive growth and competition across industries, now it’s a big challenge.
Just because it’s challenging doesn’t make it impossible, nor does it mean to give up and not try. If anything, you should be more zealous about engaging and growing your brand, business, cause, or influence on Instagram.
The thing is that you don’t have to do it all on your own. You can find ethical and safe ways to engage and grow on Instagram.
The key is to be an informed consumer and Instagrammer because the more you know, the better and more successful your efforts will be on Instagram.
While you may feel overwhelmed by the engagement you have to do on social media sites like Instagram, it’s not all doom and gloom. In fact, there are some smart companies that have excellent reputations out there that can actually help you with your engagement.
It almost sounds too good to be true for someone else building to your social media brand for you – and much of the time, it can be. However, there are some good ones out there, it’s just all about knowing how to spot them.
Let’s give one of them a review and decide whether they’re worth your money and time or not.
Today, we are reviewing Blastup. Right off the start, we have our concerns, but let’s see how it measures up.
What is BlastUp?
What’s interesting to us about BlastUp and the thing that stands out straight away is how they’ve changed their name.
For legal reasons, they have to claim on their website that they used to be called something else, and that name was Gramblast.
If you know anything about Instagram and their terms and conditions, you’ll know why they changed their name.
Instagram has copyrighted the term ‘gram’ which means that it’s illegal for another company to use it in their name.
If they didn’t have a problem violating Instagram’s copyright, will they have a problem selling fake engagement? Did this company learn anything from their mistake?
This isn’t a great start for BlastUp, but we’ll give them a review anyway. They claim to sell real engagement, but we’ll determine whether this is actually true or not.
Why Do You Need More Followers?
You may already be aware of the need to grow your followers from the beginning on Instagram, but your efforts don’t end there. Just because you have built a decent follower base doesn’t mean you can keep it without some work.
Some people even think that it gets easier to maintain their accounts once they reach a certain number of followers. While that may be halfway true, the other side to that is the need to create great content that keeps them coming back and sharing your content.
Only real followers will be of value to your Instagram account. Fake followers will only drop off, boost your numbers for a short time, and cause problems like getting your account suspended or banned.
So, real people who engage with you is your ultimate goal. One of the things that some IG users get caught up in is buying followers and likes to boost their accounts, and then they overuse them. This is how things end badly for them.
If you want to grow, you must engage personally along with whatever outsourcing option you choose.
Your rankings on Instagram are improved when you have followers that like you content and share it. When you have a lot of likes on your content, your content may become eligible for the Explore page, which further boosts your exposure.
The more targeted your followers, the higher the chance of reaching out to potential targeted followers, so your content can snowball and make you go viral and boost your popularity on Instagram.
This is a simple way to explain it since it happens over time, but it is something you need to know.
Blastup claims to deliver real likes and real followers and engagement, but we suspect that this service is using bots and fake followers that are likely to hurt your account.
What Features Does Blastup Bring to the Table?
Because Blastup sells followers and engagement for Instagram, the features will relate to things like delivery time, quality, customer service and support, and other service-related features.
The features claimed by this company include:
- Real human likes from high-quality accounts without bots
- Unmatched competitive pricing for engagement
- Instant delivery as soon as your payment processes
- A delay feature that allows you to adjust the speed at which your engagement is delivered
- Top-notch support that claims to be responsive
- Real people without ghosts, fake, or bots
- Upload detection for automated likes
- Unbeatable pricing
- Cancel anytime
- Top-notch support
Followers & Views
- Fast delivery
- 24/7 support
No password is required to use this service, which is a plus on their side.
Also, all packages claim to include 24/7 support.
This content makes it seem very appealing on the surface, doesn’t it? Underneath, we have found some suspicious things about this service.
A Review of BlastUp
First, We’ll Talk About the Positives:
Like many companies these days, good or bad, Blast Up have managed to secure their website with https.
This is a fundamental part of making sure that your customers’ information is secure when they share it through your website. Additionally, it also means that you’re more likely to be found in a Google search.
Like other companies that we’ve come across, Blast Up hasn’t got their prices all lined up and featured on their own webpage.
They’re scattered sporadically throughout the website, which we don’t love – we would prefer it if they were all in one place and easy to understand. However, they are cheap, but too cheap perhaps. They ultimately could be too good to be true.
FAQ and Help Page
Blast Up seem pretty determined to turn a new leaf since their copyrighting issues, and this is evident in the effort they’ve put into some of these features.
They have made sure to include an FAQ page that helps you if you’re not too sure what they’re all about. The more you know about a company before you commit, the more confident you’re going to feel.
Now, Let’s Look at The Negatives:
24/7 Customer Support
What’s interesting about this feature is that Blast Up do claim to have customer support who you can connect with at any point in time.
However, we’re pretty sure that this isn’t a 24/7 thing, which means you could be waiting a long time to hear back from them.
Blast Up seem more interested in showcasing what they know about social media engagement than sharing with potential customers what existing customers have said about them.
We couldn’t seem to find any real reviews anywhere, which is definitely disappointing and easy to come to the conclusion that there aren’t any because they don’t exist.
Email and Phone Form
This is perhaps the most important aspect of accountability that a company selling a service could have.
It means that you’ve got a nicely organized database of all the people who have bought your service, and if anything changes about that service, you can let them know.
While Blast Up does claim to accept Visa and MasterCard, this is where their effort with the payment gateway stops.
They haven’t secured it in any way, which means not only is the way you can pay limited, but the chances of hackers stealing your information are pretty high.

Top Blastup Alternatives
Is Blastup a Scam? Is Blastup Safe?
When you take a look at the Blast Up website, it’s big and bright, and colorful.
While this may be appealing to a younger audience, it may take someone who’s had a bit of experience to see through it and realize that this is just another company that is trying to sell you fake engagement.
We can confidently say that Blast Up’s followers are fake, which means they haven’t learned anything from the issues they had with Instagram before.
It won’t be long before they’re shut down once again for selling fake engagement, and then perhaps this time they can throw in the towel and stop scamming people.
We don’t recommend Blastup. Due to the past of the company using a copyrighted name that violates Instagram’s copyright, plus the fact that it appears they didn’t learn their lesson about selling poor and risky engagement.
Besides the detailed negative reviews on Trustpilot, we also found out some things on Scamadviser that are concerning.
Scamadviser testing has deemed this website as suspicious for various reasons. The negative reviews for the services they offer is one of those reasons. Also, the fact that they claim to help you get social media likes/followers puts it in the risky column.
While we cannot recommend Blastup for good reasons, we can recommend some alternatives that you will see below.
We also recommend that you perform your own research regarding this company and any other one that claims to deliver high-quality followers and engagement without bots or fake accounts.
You don’t want to lose your good reputation on Instagram, so doing your homework before paying for any type of outsourcing is a wise thing to do.
When you take a look at the BlastUp website, it’s big and bright and colorful. While this may be appealing to a younger audience, it may take someone who’s had a bit of experience to see through it and realize that this is just another company who is trying to sell you fake engagement.
